ABOUT ME
Hello, My name is Leanne Horwill and I am a fully qualified counsellor in Essex.
I have over ten years' experience volunteering and working in mental health; previously in the role of peer mentor & volunteer manager for my local Mind association and currently in the NHS as a High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) Therapist.
Previous to this I worked for over 9 years in a management role for a leading high street retailer.
I am also an approved Mental Health First Aid England Instructor.
I work as an integrative counsellor which means I work in a variety of ways to suit my client; this could be in a structured way heading towards goals or in a more open way, exploring and reflecting on anything that feels important.
I offer face to face sessions in a private space with off street parking as well as online (zoom) and telephone sessions.
I have up to date indemnity insurance, a clear enhanced DBS certificate and am GDPR compliant.
I offer a free 20 minute consultation, so get in touch to set this up
